Pyongyang, April 1 (KCNA) — The South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea’s Reunification (Pomminryon) formed a preparatory committee on March 25 to ensure the successfully holding of pan-national conference for peace and reunification of the country and development of the north-south relations, according to the south Korean internet newspaper Tongil News.
Attending its inaugural ceremony, held in Jangsu County of North Jolla Province, were members of organizations of all social strata across south Korea.
Speakers at the ceremony said that the spirit of the candlelight rallies, which destroyed the stronghold of reactionaries, should be oriented to independence and reunification.
A resolution was read out at the ceremony.
The resolution said that the South Headquarters of Pomminryon would fulfill its responsibility and role in the struggle to usher in a heyday of the movement for national reunification.
