Italian Diplomat Meets Officials Concerned of DPRK

Pyongyang, April 7 (KCNA) — The first secretary of the Italian embassy here met officials concerned of the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Institute of Agricultural Science of the DPRK on April 5 and 6, exchanged views on the current situation of the Korean peninsula and discussed matters of bilateral relations including cooperation in the field of agriculture.

The DPRK side talked about the measures for self-defence taken by the DPRK to cope with the U.S. moves of holding the largest-ever joint military exercises with the south Korean puppet forces for the purpose of carrying out “beheading operation” and “operation for occupying Pyongyang” after introducing huge nuclear strategic assets which push the situation on the peninsula to the extremes.
The Italian diplomat expressed deep concern about the situation on the Korean peninsula inching close to a war and hoped that all the issues would be settled through dialogues and negotiations.
