Foreign Crewmen Meet

Chongjin, April 12 (KCNA) — Foreign crewmen held a meeting at Chongjin Port on Wednesday to celebrate the 105th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

The participants laid a floral basket and bouquets before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in Chongjin City and paid tribute to them.
Present at the meeting were the captain and crewmen of the Fiji-flagged ship HAOFAN 6.
Speakers said that April 15, the birthday of Kim Il Sung is the revolutionary and great auspicious day when the Korean people greeted the peerlessly great man.
They highly praised Kim Il Sung, who embarked upon the road of the revolution in his early years, as the most prominent leader and peerlessly elder statesman as he created the immortal Juche idea and performed undying exploits for the country and its people, era and history through his great revolutionary practices.
Kim Il Sung defeated the most ferocious U.S. and Japanese imperialists in one generation, successfully implemented two-stage social revolutions and thus built a socialist power independent in politics, self-sufficient in economy and self-reliant in national defence, they stressed.
A letter to respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
