Pyongyang, April 13 (KCNA) — With the approach of the 105th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, the father of socialist Korea, servicepersons and civilians in the DPRK recall with deep emotion his great life as the leader of people.
The President liberated the country from Japan’s colonial rule through the bloody anti-Japanese armed struggle to save the destiny of the nation.
In his lifetime, he made a long journey covering over 578,000 kilometers for field guidance to more than 20,600 units, including military units, factories, farms, mines, schools, hospitals and even ordinary families across the country, for the happiness of the people till the last moments of his life.
Considering it as his pleasure to find himself among servicepersons and people, he had continued his field guidance day and night despite of weather conditions.
“Go among the people!”, this was the noble political creed of the President who regarded “Believing in people as in Heaven” as his lifelong motto.
He had given top priority to the desire and interests of people in adopting lines and policies and led the revolution and construction to victory by enlisting their unfailing energy and creative ingenuity, always sharing bitters and sweets with them.
The feats of Kim Il Sung who founded the Juche idea and built the people-centered socialist state on this land will shine forever.
