Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) — People in the DPRK visited the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and their smiling portraits displayed across the country on the occasion of the 105th birth anniversary of the President.
Seen before the statues of the great leaders on Mansu Hill in Pyongyang was a floral basket from Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People’s Army.
Placed there were floral baskets, together with bouquets and flowers, in the names of party, armed forces and power bodies, social organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of the KPA and the Korean People’s Internal Security Forces, institutions, industrial establishments and schools at all levels.
Also laid was a floral basket in the name of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front.
The visitors paid tribute to the statues of the great leaders.
Floral baskets were also placed before the statues and portraits of the great leaders at Kim Il Sung University, the Ministry of the People’s Armed Forces, the Ministry of People’s Security, the Mansudae Art Studio and other parts of the city.
Service personnel, working people and school youth and children across the country visited the statues and portraits of the great leaders in their residential areas to pay tribute to them.
