Koreans Meeting in Tokyo Marks Birth Anniversary of Kim Il Sung

Pyongyang, April 19 (KCNA) — A meeting of Koreans in Japan took place at the Korean Hall of Culture in Tokyo on April 15, the 105th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Present there were Chairman Ho Jong Man and vice-chairpersons of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), the chairman of the Central Audit Committee of Chongryon, the president of the Korean University, other officials of Chongryon, Koreans of various circles, youths and students in Japan.
Ho Jong Man in his report said the President was the lodestar of national reunification who steered the struggle of all Koreans for achieving the national reunification and the most prominent statesman in the 20th century who performed gigantic exploits for carrying out global independence and the cause of socialism.
The President was the benefactor of resurrection who provided the Koreans who had lived in tears as members of a stateless nation in Japan with a joy of national liberation and with the honor of being full-fledged overseas citizens of an independent and sovereign state, he noted, adding:
The exploits of the President shed brighter rays thanks to the wise leadership of leader Kim Jong Il and are now being successfully carried forward by respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un in the new century of Juche.
The reporter called for ushering in a new heyday of the movement of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan along with the prospering homeland, true to the leadership of Kim Jong Un.
