Release of Prisoners of Conscience and Repeal of “Security Law” Urged in S. Korea

Pyongyang, April 20 (KCNA) — According to the south Korean online paper Jaju Shibo, the 1 118th Thursday rally for release of the prisoners of conscience and repeal of the “Security Law” was held in Seoul of south Korea on April 13 under the sponsorship of the Association for Supporting Prisoners of Conscience of the Family Movement for Realizing Democracy.

Speakers at the rally expressed concern over the grave situation prevailing in the Korean peninsula due to the U.S. moves for preemptive attack on the DPRK.
Calling on all the people to turn out in the anti-war peace movement, they held that a candidate demanding the peaceful reunification of the peninsula should be voted for in the forthcoming “presidential” election.
