Pyongyang, April 24 (KCNA) — Big efforts have been directed to making multipurpose farm machines in the agricultural field of the DPRK.
It is well evidenced by a farm machine made by the Rangnang District Farm Machine Station in Pyongyang.
The farm machine can be used not only for harrowing paddy fields but for weeding and fertilizing according to the growth of crops.
Choe Sung Chol, manger of the station, told KCNA that the multipurpose farm machine is a co-product of scientists, engineers and its workers who have turned out to implement the Workers’ Party of Korea’s intention of increasing the proportion of farm work done by machines in the spirit of self-reliance and self-development.
