S. Korean Conservative Forces Slammed for Conspiratorial Moves to Win “Presidential Election”

Pyongyang, April 25 (KCNA) — A spokesman for the General Association of Koreans in China on Wednesday issued a statement calling for heightening vigilance against the moves of the conservative forces in south Korea ahead of “presidential election.”

On the threshold of the “presidential election” to be held in south Korea on May 9, the conservative forces are resorting to base moves for patronizing the candidate from the Kukmin Party who sympathizes with their moves for confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north and policy of sycophancy and treachery, the statement said, and went on:
Political charlatans of the Kukmin Party are now working hard to gain an opportunity of seizing power even by winning the support from the conservative group against the demand of the south Korean people for opening up an era of progress and democracy.
The south Koreans should clearly see through the ill intention of the conservative group and the political charlatans of the Kukmin Party deceiving the people with all sorts of tricks, engrossed with the greedy for power, heighten vigilance against them and bring about new politics and new life with their own efforts by helping the progressive pro-reform candidate win the election.
