Pyongyang, April 25 (KCNA) — Senior Party and state officials visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun on Tuesday, the 85th founding anniversary of the Korean People’s Army (KPA).
They included Kim Yong Nam, Pak Pong Ju, Choe Ryong Hae and other senior Party and state leading officials, the chairperson of a friendly party, members of the party central leadership organ in Pyongyang and officials of the Party and armed forces organs, ministries and national institutions.
Laid before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il was a floral basket in the name of Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the KPA.
Also laid there were floral baskets in the joint name of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, the Central Military Commission of the WPK and the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and in the joint name of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK and the Cabinet of the DPRK.
The participants laid high tribute to the statues of the great leaders before their statues.
They made bows to the great leaders who lie in state.
They went round the halls where orders the great leaders received are on display and halls which house cars, electric car, boat and train coaches used by them for field guidance and foreign tours till the last moments of their lives.
Service personnel and working people of all social standings visited the palace and paid high tribute to the great leaders on the same day.
