U.S., S. Korean Warmongers Launch Joint Naval Drills

Pyongyang, April 26 (KCNA) — The U.S. imperialist aggressor forces and warmongers of the south Korean military reportedly launched joint naval drills for invasion of the DPRK in the waters off the Korean peninsula on Tuesday.

The Aegis destroyer Meyer affiliated to the aircraft carrier Carl Vinson strike group moved to the West Sea of Korea and is staging tactical maneuvers and live-shell firing drill together with a destroyer of the south Korean navy.
The nuclear submarine Michigan of the strike group which entered Pusan Port is about to stage a separate drill of striking the ground targets of the DPRK.
The nuclear aircraft carrier Carl Vinson, the guided-missile cruiser Lake Champlain and the Aegis destroyer Michael Murphy will reportedly stage a “highly-intensive joint drill” for maneuvers, missile detection, tracking and interception with the south Korean puppet navy in the East Sea of Korea on Thursday and Friday.
Earlier, the pirates of the Carl Vinson strike group staged tactical and communication drills with warships of the Japan Maritime “Self-Defense Force” to put pressure on the DPRK in the waters off the Philippines.
