S. Korean Religionists Stage Hunger Sit-in to Protest THAAD Deployment

Pyongyang, April 29 (KCNA) — The Songju Emergency Measure Committee for Defending Holy Land of Won Buddhism of south Korea reportedly declared the launch of an indefinite hunger sit-in in Seoul on Thursday to protest against THAAD deployment and war provocation and demand peace.

Christians, Buddhists, Won Buddhists, Chondoists and Catholics and other protesters demanded the immediate withdrawal of THAAD parts suddenly and violently brought to Sosong-ri, Chojon-myon, Songju County of North Kyongsang Province at dawn of Wednesday.
They pledged to pave an avenue to peace and launched a sit-in near the Kwanghwamun Plaza in Seoul.
