DPRK Missions Abroad Mark Day of Sun

Pyongyang, May 2 (KCNA) — There took place celebrations, friendly meetings, seminars, receptions, book, photo and craftwork exhibitions and film shows on April 1-15 to mark the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, the Day of the Sun, at DPRK missions abroad.

The events were held at the DPRK missions in Russia, Cuba, Mongolia, Nepal, Laos, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Pakistan, Iran, Indonesia, India, Kuwait, Algeria, Guinea, Equatorial Guinea, Nigeria, South Africa, Senegal, DR Congo, Angola, Uganda, Egypt, Ethiopia, Germany, Czech Repbulic, Romania, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Sweden, Belarus, Poland, Britain, Austria, Italy, Spain, Venezuela, Peru, Brazil and Mexico, and the DPRK permanent mission at the UN Office and international organizations in Geneva and the DPRK permanent mission at the UN.
Displayed at the venues of the events were photos showing the revolutionary careers and exploits of the President and leader Kim Jong Il and photos dealing with the revolutionary activities of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
On display there were their works, books and photos showing Korea of Songun and craftworks associated with the creative talents of the Korean people.
Such Korean films as “Kimilsungia, Flower of the Sun” and “The People Sing of Their Leader” were shown at the film shows.
