Pyongyang, May 12 (KCNA) — It has been pushed forward in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, to cultivate plants with the technology of purifying water through artificial floating garden.
The Horticultural Management Bureau of the Pyongyang City People’s Committee chose locations for artificial floating gardens in the rivers of the city in cooperation with a research group of the Life Science Faculty of Kim Il Sung University which made achievements in cultivating various flowers and rice in the Pothong River last year.
The bureau has developed a method of making floating board with low cost and organized propaganda activities to give detailed answers to questions arising in connecting floating boards and planting rice and flowers on floating garden.
Now, relevant units have made preparations for floating artificial gardens in different parts of the city.
