Juvenile Football Contest Held in Pyongyang

Pyongyang, May 13 (KCNA) — There took place matches among football classes of different schools in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK.

The 20 day-long matches were held, divided into three groups of primary, junior middle and senior middle schools, with over 90 teams attended.
The first places in boys’ and girls’ group matches were taken by Rangnang and Kwangbok primary schools in Rangnang and Mangyongdae districts, Kwangbok and Sangsin junior middle schools in Mangyongdae and Sosong districts and Kaeson and Namsin senior middle schools in Moranbong and Songyo districts respectively.
Winners will take part in the 7th national tournament of football classes slated for July on behalf of Pyongyang City.
