S. Koreans Demand Halt to Anti-DPRK Moves and THAAD Deployment

Pyongyang, May 18 (KCNA) — Civic and public organizations of south Korea, including the People for Achieving Peace and Reunification, reportedly held a rally outside the U.S. embassy in Seoul on May 16, demanding prompt stop to THAAD deployment and withdrawal of its equipment and halt to anti-DPRK sanctions.

Speakers at the rally contended that the settlement of the THAAD issue is to what the new “government” of south Korea should give top priority and that the U.S. should stop sanctions and pressure on the north.
