U.S., S. Korean Warmongers Continue Joint Military Exercises

Pyongyang, May 20 (KCNA) — The U.S. nuclear-powered carrier Carl Vinson and its strike group are reportedly getting hell-bent on joint military exercises aimed at aggression on the DPRK, together with the south Korean puppet army, in the waters off the Korean peninsula.

Much upset by the DPRK’s successful test-fire of ground-to-ground medium-to-long range strategic ballistic rocket Hwasong-12, the U.S. plans to keep the deployment of the Carl Vinson strike group in the East Sea of Korea and the West Pacific waters.
Some days ago, the U.S. imperialist aggression forces, together with the south Korean navy, staged a drill of attacking simulated major facilities of the DPRK.
Meanwhile, the U.S. nuclear-powered carrier Ronald Reagan sailed from Yokosuka of Japan on May 16 toward the waters off the Korean peninsula.
