Letters Sent by Kim Jong Il, Kim Jong Un to Chongryon Are Eternal Banners of Its Patriotic Cause: Rodong Sinmun

Pyongyang, May 24 (KCNA) — Leader Kim Jong Il sent a letter “On Developing the Movement of Koreans in Japan onto a New, Higher Stage” to the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), on May 24, Juche 84 (1995) on the 40th anniversary of Chongryon and respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un sent a letter “Let Us Usher in a New Golden Age of the Movement of Koreans in Japan True to the Intention of the Great Comrade Kim Jong Il” to Chongrhyon on May 25, Juche 104 (2015) on the 60th anniversary of Chongryon.

Rodong Sinmun Wednesday in an article says these letters are the most scientific and righteous programmes, which opened up a turning phase of the movement of Koreans in Japan and firmly guaranteed its rosy future, and a powerful ideo-theoretical weapon for the patriotic cause of Chongryon.

The letters comprehensively indicate the main tasks for Chongryon to be always adhered to in its patriotic activities and ways to carry out them and fully demonstrated their truth and vitality in practices.
The Juche-based idea of the overseas compatriots’ movement of the peerlessly great men of Mt Paektu and their exploits are the immutable guidelines and eternal cornerstone of the movement of Koreans in Japan, and the historic letters of Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un serve as the eternal militant banners of the patriotic cause of Chongryon.
Unshakable are the faith and will of Chongryon officials and other Koreans in Japan to uphold for all ages President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il who protected Chongryon and Koreans in Japan and victoriously led the movement of Koreans in Japan to the last moments of their great lives and to advance along the path of Juche, long patriotic path, true to the outstanding leadership of another peerlessly great man Kim Jong Un.
Nothing can block the vigorous advance of the Chongryon officials and other Koreans in Japan who have turned out in the drive to usher in a new golden age of the movement of Koreans in Japan under the banner of the letters of the peerlessly great men.
