Rodong Sinmun Slams Japanese Reactionaries for Their Childish Intention to Deny Past Crimes

Pyongyang, May 24 (KCNA) — Shortly ago, the Japanese government expressed their stand that it would shelve the payment of financial contribution to the UNESCO this year.

Rodong Sinmun Wednesday says in a commentary in this regard:
This is part of retaliatory measure for the UNESCO’s reception of an application for the registration of the materials related to sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army as world record heritage by various civic organizations of south Korea, China, etc. This is also a dirty pressure on the UNESCO to change the UNESCO system for examination of the world record heritages in conformity with their taste at an early date.
It is aimed to persistently bar Japan’s thrice-cursed crimes including sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army from being registered in the UNESCO and from being widely known to the world.
Japan invaded various Asian countries including Korea in the past and enslaved them and mercilessly killed them. These crimes were disclosed as hard crimes against humanity.
The Japanese reactionaries are pressurizing the UNESCO over the payment of a petty amount of money as they are afraid of such materials to be recognized internationally and known through UNESCO generation after generation.
Japan’s invariable inveterate habit remains unchanged as it dislikes recognizing its wrongdoings and behaves impudently.
Money does not solve everything.
If the Japanese reactionaries make desperate efforts to deny their past wrongdoings with appeasement and pressure while showing off its wallet, this would fully reveal their childish intention as political profiteers.
