DPRK Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Meets with Russian Ambassador

Pyongyang, May 26 (KCNA) — Han Song Ryol, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK, on May 25 met with Alexandr Matsegora, Russian ambassador to the DPRK, to exchange views on the matters of mutual concern including the present situation of the Korean peninsula.

Han referred to the danger of the joint military drill of the U.S. for aggression and its sanctions against the DPRK, adding that a priority to ensuring the regional stability is to stop such moves.
The Russian ambassador underlined the importance to strengthen the communication between the two countries under the present situation, reiterating the Russian government’s stand to oppose the DPRK-targeted military threat and sanctions of the U.S., and hoped that the bilateral relations would steadily develop even under the complicated situation.
