Pyongyang, May 31 (KCNA) — The Pyongyang Floriculture Institute under the DPRK State Academy of Sciences has recently laid the solid sci-tech foundation for mass-cultivating famous flowers.
The researchers of the institute succeeded in finding the temperature suited to bulb sleeping and establishing a technology of growing bulb suited to the specific conditions of the country for several years.
This year, the institute made tens of thousands of tulip and hyacinth plants bloom and contributed to sprucing up the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun on the occasion of the Day of the Sun, the birth anniversary President Kim Il Sung.
It also made contribution to decorating Ryomyong Street with blooming flower beds.
