Pyongyang, June 4 (KCNA) — The National Socialist Party of Romania posted an article on May 30 to mark the 17th anniversary of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration.
Noting that after the joint declaration, a landmark for Korea’s reunification, was adopted on June 15, 2000, big progress had been made in the reunification movement, the article said:
The eye-opening achievements in the era of June 15 reunification were faced with grave challenge since the pro-U.S. conservative forces, crazy for north-south confrontation, came to power in south Korea.
The relations between the north and the south got worse day by day and the tour of Mt Kumgang was stopped and the Kaesong Industrial Zone shut down.
The present south Korean authorities should make a political decision of urgently improving the north-south relations for the country’s reunification, the greatest desire of the Korean nation.
