Pyongyang, June 6 (KCNA) — A delegation of the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK led by O Sung Ho, director-general of the European Department 1 of the Foreign Ministry, visited Moscow on Monday at the invitation of the Foreign Ministry of Russia.
The delegation had a consultation with Andrei Borisovich Kulik, director of the Department 1 for Asian Affairs of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
They exchanged views on the tense situation prevailing on the Korean peninsula and deeply discussed the issues arising in stably developing the bilateral ties true to the idea of the agreements and joint documents signed at summits of the two countries.
Then the 2017-2018 plan for exchange was concluded between the foreign ministries of the DPRK and the Russian Federation.
It was signed by Kim Hyong Jun, DPRK ambassador to Russia, and Igor Morgulov, vice foreign minister of Russia.
The two sides decided to ensure frequent mutual visits and close contacts and intensify cooperation according to the plan and thus accelerate the development of the overall bilateral relations.
