Pyongyang, June 8 (KCNA) — “Red Tie Fluttering under the Sun”, a performance of schoolchildren celebrating the 71st anniversary of the Korean Children’s Union, took place at the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren’s Palace on Wednesday and Thursday.
Among the audience were Choe Ryong Hae, Jon Yong Nam, first secretary of the C.C., the youth league, and the participants in the 8th KCU Congress.
The performance was given by children of the Mangyongdae Revolutionary School, the Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School and the Pyongyang Primary School for Orphans, art group members of Mangyongdae and Pyongyang Schoolchildren’s Palaces and participants in the national schoolchildren art festival.
The performance began with prologue “June 6 Is Our Holiday, Holiday of All the People”. Its numbers included chorus “The Generalissimo Is Our Sun”, poem and dance “Young Revengers”.
The performers sang loudly of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il’s warm love for posterity.
And there were such numbers as female chorus “The Marshal’s Bright Smile” and male chorus “Our Marshal Is Best” that well represent the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un’s loving care for children.
There were also numbers reflecting the resolution of younger generations to become true juvenile revolutionaries and children’s guard shouldering the future of prosperous Korea.
