Pyongyang, June 16 (KCNA) — The Rangnang Ponghwa Garment Factory in the DPRK has recently produced functional underwear with bamboo-fiber.
Its products like undershirt and robe are in high demand among women in particular.
The underwear make wearers feel fresh and ease as they are soft and sleek to the touch.
Kim Sun Yong, section chief in charge of product development at the factory, told KCNA that the factory set it as a goal to develop more high-tech products, including underwear dyed with natural chlorophylls and nano-silver clothes.
When visiting the factory on May 6, Juche 100 (2011), leader Kim Jong Il instructed the factory to make more garments for women.
