Pyongyang, June 19 (KCNA) — Dancing parties of youth and students were held in various parts of the DPRK on Monday, the 53rd anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il’s start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
When the song “Glory to General” resounded forth at the dancing party grounds in various places of Pyongyang including the plazas of the Monument to Party Founding and the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium, the participants staged cheerful dances, recollecting the party-building exploits of Kim Jong Il.
They danced to the melodies of songs “The General Star beyond the Clouds” and “Our General Is the Best”, extending glory to Kim Jong Il who trained a huge unit of successors to the revolution and built a youth power, the first of its kind in the world.
“We Are Mallima Riders” and “Song of Youth” which reflect the revolutionary mettle of the youth vanguard revved up the festive atmosphere.
Similar dancing parties were also held at provincial seats across the country.
