Pyongyang, June 21 (KCNA) — Mines across the DPRK put spurs to boosting the production.
Taking the lead in it is the Unryul Mine which carried out its first half-yearly quota as of June 20.
Its Youth Mine District alone removed thousands cubic meters of overburden and has overfulfilled its daily quota by operating rotary drills, hydraulic excavators and heavy-duty trucks on a normal basis.
And its Jungsan Mine District introduced advanced mining method and rational blasting method to increase the blasting efficiency and mining speed 1.5 times than before.
The same is true of other mines across the country like Jaeryong, Phyongsan and Ryongwon mines which also carried out their first half-yearly quotas.
