S. Korean Part-time Workers Declare General Strike

Pyongyang, June 21 (KCNA) — The Solidarity Meeting of Seoul School Part-time Jobs of south Korea held a rally in Seoul on June 16 to vow a general strike for the improvement of part-time workers’ conditions, according to the south Korean News 1.

At the rally speakers pointed out that the number of part-time workers is on the daily increase and discrimination against them is getting serious.
They expressed the will to stage a general strike for improved conditions of the part-time workers and hike of minimum wage on June 29 and 30.
