Abolition of Evils in Police Urged in S. Korea

Pyongyang, June 24 (KCNA) — The Redemption and Prosperity Party of south Korea called a news conference on June 19 outside Chongwadae, at which it released a commentary of the spokesman office in demand of the abolition of the evil practices in the police, according to the south Korean online paper Minjok Ilbo.

Noting the hospital of the Seoul National University confirmed that a water cannon of the police killed peasant Paek Nam Gi, the commentary demanded that Chongwadae remove vicious police officers such as the chief of the police agency from their posts and stamp out the evil practices in the police, though belatedly.
It declared that the Party would take a 100-day action in demand of the abolition of the evils in the police.
