S. Koreans Call for Lifting Sanctions and Blockade on DPRK

Pyongyang, June 25 (KCNA) — The 2017 Forum for Democracy and Peace and the Council of Voters for Building Democratic and Peace-loving “Government” and Great Reform in south Korea held a press conference in Seoul on June 22 in demand of lifting sanctions and military blockade on the DPRK.

Speakers at the conference said the south Korean people made their stand clear never to accept the increasing danger of war on the Korean peninsula through their candlelight resistance.
They claimed international sanctions and military blockade on the DPRK only increased the danger and accelerated the north’s development of its nuclear capability.
