Day of Anti-U.S Struggle Marked across Korea

Pyongyang, June 27 (KCNA) — Mass rallies took place in different cities and counties of the DPRK to mark the day of struggle against U.S. imperialism.

Present there were officials of party, power and economic organs, working people’s organizations, industrial establishments, farms and universities and working citizens and youth and students in the local areas.
Speakers referred to the facts that the U.S. imperialists ignited a war against the DPRK on June 25, 1950 and committed an unheard-of genocide and indiscriminate destruction.
The Korean army and people brought disgraceful defeat to the U.S. imperialists for the first time in history by turning out in the sacred war to defend their country, they said.
Noting that the U.S. imperialists have made ceaseless attempt to provoke a nuclear war against the DPRK, far from drawing a lesson from their shameful defeat in the Korean War, the speakers expressed the will to bring the final doom to the aggressors if they ignite another war on this land.
Then followed public processions.
