DPRK FM Meets New Nepali Ambassador

Pyongyang, June 29 (KCNA) — Ri Yong Ho, minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, met Leela Mani Paudyal, new Nepali ambassador to the DPRK, who paid a courtesy call on him Thursday.

Ri Yong Ho referred to the justice and vitality of the line of simultaneously building up the economy and defence of the Workers’ Party of Korea and expressed expectation that the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the DPRK and Nepal would develop on good terms in the interests of the governments and peoples of the two countries in the future, too.
The Nepali ambassador said the situation of the Korean peninsula should be peacefully settled, expressing the will to make positive efforts to boost the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries with a long history and tradition in different fields.
