Stop to Toeing U.S. Line Urged in S. Korea

Pyongyang, July 1 (KCNA) — The North Jolla Provincial Headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration on June 27 held a press conference outside the North Jolla provincial office, together with civic and social organizations, to demand that the south Korean authorities desist from toeing the U.S. line.

According to the south Korean Internet newspaper Tongil News, speakers at the conference charged that Trump’s policy of “maximum pressure and engagement” is for worsening the war crisis on the Korean peninsula.
They urged the south Korea authorities to get rid of their stand for “simultaneous sanctions and dialogue”.
