U.S. Troops’ War Drills Protested in S. Korea

Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) — The Pusan People for Achieving Peace and Reunification of south Korea made public a commentary in denunciation of the war drills staged by U.S. troops in south Korea on June 28, according to a report in Seoul.

The commentary said that the U.S. military policemen staged military drills under the cloak of coping with someone’s invasion by mobilizing armored cars in Pusan on June 20 and 21.
It urged the present authorities and the Foreign Ministry to positively opt for revising the south Korea-U.S. “Status of Forces Agreement” and authorities of Pusan City to think about the security of the inhabitants posed to threat due to the U.S. military drills and fulfill their responsibilities.
