Ceremony of Naming Fidel Castro Ruz Classroom Held

Pyongyang, July 4 (KCNA) — A ceremony of naming a classroom after Fidel Castro Ruz was held at Pyongyang Foreign Languages School under Pyongyang University of Foreign Studies on Tuesday to mark the 91 birth anniversary of Fidel Castro Ruz and with the approach of the month of solidarity with the Cuban people.

It was attended by So Ho Won, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries and vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Solidarity with Cuba, officials concerned, teachers and pupils of the school, Jesus De Los Angeles Aise Sotolongo, Cuban ambassador to the DPRK, and staff members of his embassy.
Speakers noted at the ceremony that President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il together with Fidel Castro Ruz established and boosted the ties of friendship between the two countries.
They expressed their will to make every possible effort to value and invariably develop the good comradely relations provided by the preceding leaders of the two countries.
