Suppression of Labor Movement Accused in S. Korea

Pyongyang, July 4 (KCNA) — The Confederation of Trade Unions, the Federation of Trade Unions and other labor movement organizations of south Korea held a press conference at the Kwanghwamun Plaza in Seoul on June 28, according to the south Korean newspaper Nodong and Segye.

Speakers there said compensation for damage and provisional attachment system served as typical means for suppression of trade unions in business groups today.
Since Park Geun Hye took office, in particular, the system has been abused to intensify the second suppression forcing withdrawal from trade unions and dismissal, they stated.
