Pyongyang, July 12 (KCNA) — The State Academy of Sciences in the DPRK is a powerful organ for scientific research guidance, which steers the country’s sci-tech development and supports the socialist construction as required by the age of knowledge-based economy.
Its scientists and technicians recently made a number of successes in their drive for giving a strong scientific and technological impetus to the development of the national economy.
The Manufactory No. 111 introduced into several fishery stations the IT-based and smart system for checking the freshness of fish and consigning, thus opening up a bright prospect for supplying people with fresh fish all the year around.
The Paper Engineering Institute improved the performance of synthetic fiber filter and manufactured a drill necessary for the production of precision filter tip.
The Central Mining Research Institute produced over 40 pneumatic flotation machines necessary for upgrading the ore-dressing process at the dressing plant No.3 under the Komdok Mining Complex.
The Ferrous Mining Research Institute gave a helping hand to the construction of a wet concentration plant in the Jaeryong Mine and installed the drum separator at the plant.
