U.S. Sanctions and Pressure Never Work on DPRK: Rodong Sinmun

Pyongyang, July 14 (KCNA) — The U.S. is crying out for mounting a military attack on the DPRK, terming its steps for bolstering the capability for self-defence a “threat to the world” in a bid to escalate international sanctions and pressure on it.

This is just a ridiculous bluffing of those taken aback by the invincible might of the DPRK, says Rodong Sinmun Friday in a commentary, and goes on:
The DPRK remains unfazed by the desperate moves of the U.S. to stifle it.
Its development of intercontinental ballistic rocket is a self-defensive option to put a definite end to the decades-long U.S. hostile policy and nuclear war threat to the DPRK.
It is a manifestation of stupidity that the U.S. works hard to check the victorious advance of the service personnel and people of the DPRK, terming its entirely just measures for protecting itself and putting nuclear force on a higher level a “threat.”
The U.S. is gravely mistaken if it arrogantly thinks that even a single shell should never be dropped on its mainland while carpet-bombing other countries.
The U.S. strategic vision on the DPRK should undergo a fundamental change and the U.S. should drop its hostile policy toward the DPRK and stop the nuclear threats and blackmails to it.
