Unreasonable Punishment upon Students Protested in S. Korea

Pyongyang, July 26 (KCNA) — According to the south Korean online newspaper Voice of People, student and teaching organizations of Seoul National University, Korea University and other universities and civic and public organizations of south Korea including the Bar Association for Democratic Society held a press conference on Monday denouncing the Seoul National University side for unreasonably punishing its students.

Speakers accused the university side of taking various disciplinary measures such as indefinite halt to attending school against the students who waged a sit-in strike in protest against its arbitrary practice.
Asking the university side if the action for democracy in the university is the reason for punishment, every political action taken by citizens with democratic conscience is liable to crackdown? queried the speakers.
The double-dealing attitude of the university side clearly shows the action taken against the students is politically- motivated retaliation, they declared an action against this.
