Homage Paid to Martyrs on War Victory Day in DPRK

Pyongyang, July 27 (KCNA) — Wreaths were laid at the statues and cemeteries and tombs of martyrs and memorial towers for the fallen soldiers of the Korean People’s Army across the country on Thursday, the 64th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

Attending the wreath-laying ceremonies were officials of local party and power organs, working people’s organizations, industrial establishments, farms and schools, men and officers of the Korean People’s Army (KPA) and the Korean People’s Internal Security Forces (KPISF), working people, school youth and children.
The participants paid a silent tribute to the memory of the martyrs.
