Americans Say No to THAAD Deployment and U.S.-S. Korea Joint Military Drills

Pyongyang, July 28 (KCNA) — According to the south Korean Yonhap News, a delegation of Americans for peace against THAAD deployment held a press conference in Seoul on July 25 urging the U.S. administration and south Korean authorities to stop their THAAD deployment in south Korea and their joint military drills.

Speakers denounced that the enforcement of THAAD deployment is part of the U.S. administration’s moves for militarism.
Read out at the conference was a statement signed by more than 80 organizations and 280 personages of the U.S.
The statement stressed that in order to settle the “nuclear issue in the north”, THAAD should not be deployed and the U.S. should halt its joint military drills with south Korea and arms race.
