Pyongyang, July 29 (KCNA) — The 15th National Exhibition of Inventions and New Technologies took place at the Sci-Tech Complex in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, from July 18 to 28.
On display at the exhibition were more than 1,500 sci-tech achievements presented by 100-odd ministries, national institutions and provincial (municipality) science and technology commissions.
During the exhibition, new technological products were introduced with the sale of patented goods and dissemination of advanced technologies.
Among the exhibits of great economic value were a comprehensive monitoring system on communication network, self-admission centrifugal pump and gravity-fed drip irrigation system for sapling production.
What drew attention of visitors were also achievements made in the light, metal and machine-building industrial fields, which would be conducive to the building of a socialist power.
The exhibition clearly showed the rapid development of science and technology in the DPRK.
