Koreans in U.S. Stage Demonstration for Peace against War

Pyongyang, July 29 (KCNA) — Koreans in the U.S. staged a demonstration outside the south Korean puppet consulate general in Los Angels on July 27, demanding the withdrawal of the THAAD deployment in south Korea and the conclusion of a peace treaty between the DPRK and the U.S.

They handed a statement and a letter to the puppet consulate general.
64 years have passed since the armistice agreement, the keynote of which is to terminate the Korean War and stop hostile acts, was signed, but the people in the Korean peninsula and Asian countries are suffering from war threat owing to the U.S. persistent military moves, they noted.
Meanwhile, the Koreans in New York distributed among citizens literature stressing the need to conclude a peace treaty between the DPRK and the U.S., chanting such slogans as “Withdrawal of U.S. forces from south Korea”, “No war” and “Conclusion of peace treaty.”
