Pyongyang, July 30 (KCNA) — Meetings, lectures, photo exhibitions and film shows were held in Bangladesh, Russia, Peru, Nigeria and Algeria from July 20 to 24 to mark the 64th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.
“The Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum” and other Korean films were shown.
The chairman of the Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee and the chairperson of the Bangladesh Group for the Study of the Songun Policy said that July 27 is the war victory day of the DPRK and the day specially recorded in the history of world wars because the day clearly showed the world that the U.S. is never “the world’s strongest” and one is sure to win when one fights against the U.S.
The chairman of the Khabarovsk Territory Branch of the Youth Guards, an all-Russia social body affiliated to the United Russia Party, said that the U.S. can never evade the responsibility for having ignited the Korean War.
The secretary general of the Peruvian-Korean Institute of Culture and Friendship noted that President Kim Il Sung was an outstanding thinker and theoretician and a peerlessly great man recognized by the world as he fathered the Juche idea, defeated the U.S. and Japanese imperialists and built the socialist country in Korea.
He said that the DPRK could become a military power possessed of H-bomb and ICBM thanks to the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il who were gifted with far-sighted wisdom and respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who is honorably defending the country’s dignity and sovereignty by leading the political and military showdown with the U.S. to victory.
The nuclear weapons of the DPRK are not ones for invading other countries but military deterrence for defending the sovereignty of the country and the peace in the region from the threat and blackmail of the U.S. that have lasted for over half a century, he added.
