Korean People’s War Victory Day Observed Abroad

Pyongyang, August 3 (KCNA) — Such events as meeting, seminar, book, photo and art exhibition and film show were held in Bulgaria, Germany and Egypt between July 12 and 26 to mark the 64th anniversary of the Korean people’s victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

Mincho Minchev, chairman of the Bulgarian Communists’ Party who is chairman of the Bulgaria-Korea Friendship Association, Atanas Ivanov, honorary chairman of the Bulgarian Communists Union and other speakers stressed that the Korean people’s great victory in the war was the result of the wise leadership of the President and that the U.S. ignited a war with its wild scheme to occupy whole Korea and dominate the world but sustained a disgraceful defeat from the Korean people.
The chairman of the Anti-Imperialist Forum of Germany said that the DPRK is carrying on the great ever-victorious tradition, winning victory after victory in the struggle with the U.S.-led imperialist allied forces.
Congratulatory and solidarity messages to respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events in Bulgaria and Germany.
