S. Koreans Stage Demo to Get Prisoners of Conscience Released

Pyongyang, August 8 (KCNA) — Citizens from different walks of life in south Korea, including the families of prisoners of conscience and members of the Association for Supporting Prisoners of Conscience of the Family Movement for Realizing Democracy and citizens, staged a demonstration urging the release of all prisoners of conscience in Seoul on Aug. 5, according to the south Korean online paper Voice of People.

The demonstrators marched from the plaza of Kwanghwamun to the road leading to Chongwadae, chanting such slogans as “Set free all prisoners of conscience”.
