Pyongyang, August 9 (KCNA) — Civic organizations and residents in Seoul of south Korea met before the Ryongsan U.S. military base on August 7 to form an anti-U.S. reunification vanguard and expressed their will to intensify the anti-U.S. struggle.
They said that they would no longer remain an onlooker to the arrogant attitude of the U.S. violating the sovereignty and neglecting the south Korean people.
They insisted that the U.S., a signatory to the armistice agreement, should put an end to the state of war by concluding a peace treaty with the DPRK.
They declared that the vanguard would proactively conduct anti-U.S. actions such as anti-U.S. picture and book exhibition under the slogan of “Stop to the U.S. interference! Conclude a peace treaty!”
