Pyongyang, August 9 (KCNA) — The Solidarity for Democracy, People’s Life, Peaceful Reunification and Sovereignty in south Korea held a rally around the U.S. embassy in Seoul on August 5 to condemn U.S. President Trump’s bellicose remarks, according to the south Korean online paper Jaju Sibo.
The speakers at the rally attacked Trump’s remarks that even if a war breaks out, it will be fought on the Korean peninsula and even though thousands are killed, they will be there, not in the U.S. mainland.
Saying that the true nature of the U.S. has been revealed once again through his silly talk, they called for achieving peace by the united efforts of the nation.
After the rally, the participants presented a letter of protest to the U.S. embassy.
The letter urged the U.S. to come out for repeal of its hostile policy toward the DPRK, conclusion of a peace accord and stop to the THAAD deployment.
