Pyongyang, August 10 (KCNA) — Kim Yong Dae, vice-president of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly, met and had a talk with a government delegation of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea led by Victor Grange Mehile, minister of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Food, which paid a courtesy call on him at the Mansudae Assembly Hall Thursday.
Noting that President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il paid special attention and rendered active support to the struggle of the Equatorial Guinean government and people for building a new society, Kim Yong Dae stressed the need to steadily develop the bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation in the future, too.
Victor Grange Mehile said the relations between the two countries are the true fraternal ones, recalling that the Korean people sincerely helped the people of Equatorial Guinea when they were in their hardest period.
He stressed that the government and people of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea fully support the just struggle and self-defensive measures of the government and people of the DPRK for defending the sovereignty of the country and the dignity of the nation under the wise guidance of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
Noting that they got to know better about the situation of the DPRK whose science and technology are rapidly developing, he hoped that the bilateral cooperation in agriculture would expand in the future.
