Pyongyang, August 11 (KCNA) — No-THAAD action organizations and residents of south Korea reportedly blocked the authorities’ moves for appreciation of environment in the THAAD site.
Representatives of six civic and public organizations against THAAD deployment on August 8 held a meeting for emergency measure and decided to protest against the authorities’ scheme for measurement of electromagnetic waves and noise.
The Songju Committee for Struggle against THAAD Deployment, the Kimchon Citizens Measure Committee against THAAD Deployment and others held a press conference on Thursday to demand an immediate stop to the appreciation moves.
Speakers urged the authorities to stop the project for THAAD deployment and withdraw facilities.
Their strong protest forced the authorities to cancel the plan for measurement of electromagnetic waves and noise.
